"When I launched Tabletop Bookshelf, I hoped there was space for something like this in gaming," says Tom Gibes, founder of Tabletop Bookshelf. "The response from the TTRPG community, especially from solo game enthusiasts and indie game fans, has been incredible. They've created a place where people can discover, explore, and enjoy all the amazing work happening in this space."
"2024 was about bringing this vision to life," Gibes reflects. "But none of this happens without the partnership of the authors, designers, and creators who craft these games. They understand that physical books and zines still matter, even in a digital age. Tabletop Bookshelf exists to help their work find the right audiences."
Looking toward 2025, Tabletop Bookshelf is working on new ways of connecting players and creators and creating new ways to highlight every game in its curated collection. The shop will feature more flip throughs and actual plays, helping players understand what makes each title special. And in the coming weeks, Tabletop Bookshelf will launch its Discord server, creating a new space for gaming groups to form around these unique titles.
