Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and be in its original wrapping, if applicable.

When the product is incorrect or defective in another way, Tabletop Bookshelf will pay for shipping. We may request proof of any issue. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
When the customer purchased the wrong product, entered incorrect information, or in the case of customer remorse, the customer will pay for shipping. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns on:
- Scratch & Dent copes
- digital versions such as PDFs
- books with reimbursement marks, such as our Second Chance collection
- gift cards
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Damages, Missing Items, and Other Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Missing Order
If over a week has passed since the posted delivery date, we will offer an option of refund, store credit, or redelivery.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@tabletopbookshelf.com.
Store Credit
In some circumstances we may offer store credit in lieu of a refund. Store credit comes in the form of a discount that can be used on any product or combination of products in our store, combined with discounts, and expires 365 days after issuance. The entire credit must be used on the same order. Unused credit may be lost.
International Shipping
We do not offer free returns for international orders, whatever the reason. Cost of international shipping and fees for international orders will be deducted from any refund.
Tabletop Bookshelf ships to the United States and Canada only. We provide shipping to the Canada solely through the USPS International services. Free shipping is not an option for international purchases.
We do not provide estimates of any duty, VAT, taxes or clearance charges that may be applicable outside the U.S. as these are specific to each destination country. Buyer is solely responsible for understanding and complying with the import requirements of the destination country.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
