Milwaukee's Gaming Bookstore & Lounge
A one-of-a-kind tabletop
gaming destination in Milwaukee.
Tabletop Bookshelf launched in 2023 as an online destination for people who love indie tabletop RPGs, solo games, and all the creativity and artistry in the TTRPG space.
In 2026 we opened our physical location in Walker's Point, Milwaukee, with shelves you can browse, tables you can play at, and staff who are excited to help you discover your next favorite game.
We're located near the birthplace of tabletop roleplaying games, and happy to extend that tradition in new ways, to new audiences.
Game Store? Book store? Why not both?
Indie Game Book Store
Every title in our collection is curated to bring a new dimension to our art-forward selection of indie RPGs, solo games, journaling games, zines, and small-press releases from independent creators.
In addition, we carry a curated selection of fiction and non-fiction, centered on speculative fiction -- fantasy, sci-fi, horror -- and non-fiction that will inspire and spark your imagination.
Gaming Lounge
The lounge is open.
Comfortable gaming tables available for drop-in play or advance reservation.
Perfect for a regular campaign, a first session with a new group, or trying out a game from our Game Library.
Bring your crew, bring your dice, bring your appetite.
Need someone to run your game? Let us run it for you.
Gaming Gifts
Dice, accessories, gaming supplies, and gifts for the TTRPG lover in your life... or yourself. Curated the same way we curate everything else: with thought and intention.
Community Events
Game nights, author events, new release celebrations, designer meet-ups, and more. Follow us on social, bookmark our events calendar, or join our Discord to stay in the loop.
Exceptional Service
We live and breathe tabletop RPGs and solo games. Come in with a question, a vibe, a genre, or a mood. We'll find you something worth playing.
