Tabletop Bookshelf started as an online shop for people who love indie TTRPGs, solo games, and the weird, wonderful zines that don't make it onto mainstream shelves.
We've shipped thousands of games to players across the country, earned hundreds of five-star reviews along the way, and built a community around the idea that there's a whole world of incredible tabletop RPGs beyond the bestseller shelf.
Now we're bringing it all to Milwaukee with real shelves you can browse, tables you can play at, and staff excited to help you discover your next favorite game.
Our collection is curated, not algorithmic. Every title on our shelves is chosen because we believe in it. Indie RPGs, solo games, journaling games, zines, and small-press releases from independent creators and publishers, along with a curated collection of fiction and non-fiction. You'll find things here you've never seen before.

Tabletop Bookshelf is the project of long-time gamerunner and 4th-generation Milwaukeean Tom Gibes. We're located near the birthplace of tabletop roleplaying games, and we take that seriously. This city has a claim on the genre, and it deserves a store that honors it.
We work directly with independent creators and publishers to stock the games they've made, many of which come to us straight from Kickstarter and crowdfunding campaigns, making us one of the first places to carry the newest indie TTRPGs and solo RPGs anywhere.
Located in Milwaukee's creative and vibrant Walker's Point neighborhood, near the Historic Third Ward.
