In February 2022, refugee students from Fugees Family, Inc. gathered for an iThrive Studio to design a game that supports refugee students resettling in towns and cities across the U.S. The refugee students who co-created Our Threads shared that people rarely asked them real questions - or saw them beyond assumptions.
This game was born from their insight: we’re more alike than we think. The prompts encourage empathy, break down barriers, and remind us of stories that connect us all.
