Card-Based RPGs For Your Pocket

These 52-card editions of J. Walton's surreal fishing RPG Tacklebox and Tyler Crumrine's people-watching RPG Better Strangers are perfect fits for roleplaying on the go!

Tacklebox and Better Strangers are both prompt-based roleplaying games. Whenever players draw a card from one of the games' decks, they'll be tasked with either answering a question or reacting to the prompt listed on the card.

In Better Strangers, cards prompt you to answer questions about a figure within eyesight to create an imaginary backstory for them. Bold prompts can only be applied to someone you're answering a question about for the first time, while italic prompts can only be answered as additional facets of someone you've already started defining.

In Tacklebox, card prompts shift the nature of reality around you. Keeping each prompt to yourself, any time you draw a card you're tasked with roleplaying its change in circumstances to your fishing partner. One part party game and one part LARP, prompts can either be kept a secret for the full game or revealed at the end.

Get both of these card-based storytelling games together for a special price in this exclusive bundle!
